Animal Traffic—the staple spot to pick up all things Pendleton, Minnetonka and vintage western—has a lot to celebrate this month. In addition to the one-year anniversary of the opening of their downtown location, Animal Traffic is gearing up to bring the rest of the world access to their carefully curated products with the launch of an online store. The original Animal Traffic opened in 2009 (and still resides) on Mississippi Avenue, and has become a beloved and trusted institution in Portland over the years. We couldn’t be happier for them!
To commemorate these accomplishments, Animal Traffic has teamed up with Portland-based design house, PINO, to create an exclusive bowtie collection. The collaboration between these two comes as no surprise, as both businesses put a strong emphasis on quality, handmade products that celebrate local artisans and authentic craftsmanship. The bowties, handmade here in Portland, use exquisite Guatemalan fabrics—and if you know PINO’s Crispin Argento, they are sure to be impeccably stylish.
Animal Traffic is throwing a reception at their downtown store, on March 22nd, to celebrate their good fortune. There will be drinks, food, music and exclusive offers on store items. Throw on your best buffalo plaid, some cowboy boots and head over there to show them your support. (And, while you’re at it, grab a few of those bowties.)
