Raise your hand if one of your resolutions this year was to tame your bad shopping habit (yup, ours are up high). After all of the holiday gifting madness, we thought we’d have no problem putting away our wallets for a while. But, we’re probably going to have to bring them back out for this upcoming week’s slated shopping events. Hey, at least we got through one month of reduced spending!
Celebrate the opening of the brick-and-mortar outpost of adorable store, Summerland, at 811 E Burnside. Shoppers can expect store discounts, a drawing for $150 to the store, champagne cocktails and free Deborah Lippmann nail polish for purchases of $100 or more. We’ve long been fans of Summerland’s online selection of goodies like Feildguided’s dreamcats calendar, Fig + Yarrow’s basil and cardamom lip balm and Catbird’s campfire candle. Can’t wait to see it all in person on Friday!
PDX Collective Sale is a pop-up shop (we heart pop-ups) featuring 11 local boutiques all under one roof at The Cleaners at The Ace Hotel. Some our favorites like Shop Adorn, Lizard Lounge and Betsy + Iya will be there offering deep discounts to lucky shoppers. Read more about the event in Dominique’s article here.
Thursday, 2/7 (6-10PM): A California Collection at Yo Vintage!
For First Thursday, Yo Vintage! is bringing a little sunshine our way to break up the doom and gloom of the Portland winter. They will be debuting their latest finds from a recent buying trip in California, so rather appropriately, they’ll be serving sunshine cocktails and offering 40% off of items from last season. Sounds like just the dose of inspiration we need right now to get us through the next few months!
