Unplug, unwind & explore in Canada. We caught up with our friend, Jon Trend after his time in our neighbor to the north. His nature photography blows us away so we had to get the inside scoop.
E&E: Where did you explore in Canada?
Jon: We explored the Canadian Rockies up in Banff and Jasper and made our way down to Glacier National Park on our last day.
E&E: What was the most memorable spot you stumbled upon?
Jon: It’s hard to pick a favorite when you spend a week in one of the most beautiful places in the world. As far as most memorable, I would have to say driving down the “Going to the Sun Road” in Glacier during sunset. This was my second time going but its always different when you get to share the experience with people you’re close with. It was hands down one of the best sunsets I’ve seen in a long time.
E&E: What were some take aways from the Canadian wilderness?
Jon: Definitely pack bug spay, haha!
Everyone needs to go up and take a week to unplug. We spend everyday on our phones checking social, answering emails. Googling things the we really don’t care about. Spending a week in the mountains with your best friends is therapy no money can buy.
