No plans yet? Tisk Tisk. Not to worry, here are a few last minute recommendations for tonight. No they don’t cost $85 per person and no you don’t need to dress fancy…unless you want to. It is Portland afterall.
5425 E Burnside St. Portland, OR
We went last night and fell head over heals, along with the rest of Portland. We saw about 18 different people we knew and loved every minute of it. Small and intimate with dim lighting and family style tables. Amazing cocktails (the Hot Toddy was one of the better ones I’ve had) and food that gives off an intoxicating smell of butter…in the best way possible. Get there early to grab a seat, it’s pretty limited. Don’t worry, DJ Bill “Mr Romance” Portland will be bringing you great tunes all evening.
4144 SE 60th Portland, OR
One of our favorite neighborhood mexican spots. Great, fresh, quality ingredients and unique dishes that won’t have you worrying about a plummeting bank account balance. We promise, you won’t be waiting for a table and won’t be hungry upon departing. Order one of the many flavored margaritas (personal favorite: passion fruit) and enjoy tonight’s live music.
The Pied Cow Coffeehouse
3244 SE Belmont St. Portland, OR
We recommend this place for an after dinner dessert spot. They are sooooo effing good. Sit in the old victorian house or in the garden patio, enjoy some hookah (high school style) or fondue while secretly gawking at the servers…you’ll see for yourself. It’s fun, laid back and they have honey-lavender steamers and Chocolate stout ice cream floats. Nuff said.

Family owned Middle Eastern food that will keep you coming back, again and again and again. Don’t know whether it is the huge flat bread (FREE) they give you when you sit down or the massive amounts of dips they have for the bread, but every time we go, we are like giddy school girls who appear to have not eaten for at least a week. With a few different locations, you shouldn’t have too much trouble getting a seat.
And like Rajmulx said on Youtube:
